Youth ImpACT Award Open for Application

The Foundation announces with immense pleasure the launch of the Youth ImpACT Award (“YIAA”) (「感」創「敢」為), a territory-wide initiative co-presented with The Boys’ and Girls’ Clubs Association of Hong Kong (“BGCA”). The Award is now open for application.

YIAA is a unique service learning and social innovation Award aimed at raising local youth’s civic-mindedness and enhancing their community engagement. Designed for S2 to S6 students, YIAA aims to stimulate the ideation of novel social services that address real life issues. Through a series of training workshops including experiential learning activities, site visits, featured lectures, design thinking workshops and e-learning activities, the Foundation and BGCA aim to arouse students’ empathy and motivate them to act by turning their inspiration into a concrete idea. Ten final teams will be given seed money to put their plan to test and see how their idea can make an impact in the community.

The Foundation believes in the powerful imagination of our younger generation to identify social needs, conceptualize creative solutions and might even help to steer innovation to enhance existing services. Through YIAA, we hope that students will establish meaningful connections with their community and discover their abilities to enrich lives.

Join us in putting ideas into action and driving positive changes in the community! For more details, please visit the official website of YIAA.
