    We are currently looking for high calibre candidates to fill the following positions:

    • Communications Manager
    • Finance & Administration Manager
    • Program Manager

    Communications Manager

    Based in Hong Kong and reporting to the CEO of the Foundation, the Communications Manager will:

    1. Assist the CEO in developing and implementing communications strategy and programs to enhance the Foundation’s profile, and the public awareness of the Foundation’s vision and missions;
    2. Independently develop and manage multiple communication channels and platforms including but not limited to the Foundation’s website and social media;
    3. Proactively plan and coordinate with beneficiary organizations and Program Managers on publicity related matters;
    4. Plan and manage publicity related events and initiatives;
    5. Independently handle (or in collaboration with Program Managers where appropriate) publicity-related matters such as preparation of speeches, press releases, and arrangement of publicity events;
    6. Develop marketing collaterals that align with the communications strategy;
    7. Build strong networks with relevant stakeholders.

    The Communications Manager should possess the following qualifications and competencies:

    1. A good university degree, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in a supervisory role;
    2. Excellent communication and writing skills in both English and Chinese;
    3. Passionate about philanthropy, creative, outgoing and self-motivated;
    4. Able to work independently with minimal supervision, yet a good team player;

     

    Finance & Administration Manager

    Based in Hong Kong and reporting to the CEO of the Foundation, the Finance & Administration Manager will:

    1. Assist the CEO in monitoring the investment portfolio with external fund investment managers;
    2. Assist the CEO in handling the treasury and banking matters;
    3. Independently manage full set of accounts, prepare monthly management accounts on a timely basis, periodic cash flow projections and forecast, and annual budget;
    4. Coordinate with external auditor in the performance of annual audit;
    5. Work closely with the program staff in timely disbursement of donations;
    6. Regularly review, develop and implement appropriate accounting, internal control, and program/project monitoring procedures;
    7. File statutory reports to relevant regulatory bodies on a timely basis;
    8. Maintain proper and accurate accounting records as well as relevant MIS;
    9. Handle corporate secretarial matters;
    10. Manage monthly payroll and MPF process and general administrative matters.

    The Finance & Administration Manager should possess the following qualifications and competencies:

    1. A good university degree in Accountancy or Business Administration, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in a managerial role;
    2. Professional qualification in accounting (HKICPA, ACCA, CA or equivalent);
    3. Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented and meticulous mindset;
    4. Excellent communication and writing skills in both English and Chinese;
    5. Passionate about philanthropy, creative, outgoing and self-motivated;
    6. Able to work independently with minimal supervision, yet a good team player.

     

    Program Manager

    Based in Hong Kong and reporting to the CEO of the Foundation, the Program Manager will:

    1. Assist the CEO in developing and implementing new philanthropic initiatives that align with the mission of the Foundation;
    2. Conduct research on relevant social/community issues and keep abreast of the practices and development of the philanthropic sector;
    3. Proactively identify suitable partners and/or organizations to develop meaningful programs in line with the strategic priorities of the Foundation;
    4. Independently manage funding applications, including but not limited to due diligence, assessment, proposal writing, programs/projects implementation and related event management;
    5. Monitor the progress of approved programs/projects including but not limited to donation disbursements, regular visits to partner organizations and provision of regular updates;
    6. Maintain proper and accurate donation records and database;
    7. Perform or assist in publicity related matters such as preparation of speeches, press releases, and arrangement of publicity events;
    8. Build strong networks with relevant stakeholders.

    The Program Manager should possess the following qualifications and competencies:

    1. A good university degree, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in a managerial role;
    2. Strong business acumen and ability to identify worthy opportunities;
    3. Critical mindset and ability to conduct research and analysis;
    4. Strong program implementation and management skills;
    5. Excellent communication and writing skills in both English and Chinese;
    6. Passionate about philanthropy, creative, outgoing and self-motivated;
    7. Able to work independently with minimal supervision, yet a good team player;
    8. Strong knowledge of government policies, industry development and practices in the areas of education, medical research and healthcare, and promotion of Buddhist values.
