    We are currently looking for candidates to fill the following position:

    Operations Manager – D’ Hub

    The D. H. Chen Foundation is a Hong Kong family philanthropic trust established in 1970 by Dr. Din Hwa Chen, an ardent philanthropist and a devout Buddhist who also found the Nan Fung Group. The Foundation has been steering and supporting numerous innovative, impactful and sustainable community initiatives to enrich lives through its five strategies, namely “Initiate, Capacity Building, Innovate, Catalyst for Collaboration, and Impact-Driven”.

    Aspiring to build a compassionate society and promote compassion-based values, the Foundation endeavors to put compassion into action through the work of our five Institutes – a realization of Dr. Chen’s philosophy – “Care for others as well as you would care for yourself”.

    Through the establishment of D’ Hub by DHCF – a flagship physical site of the Foundation, we aim to foster a compassionate ecosystem for all like-minded change makers to learn, experience, share and contribute towards to the promotion of shared compassion-based values and to actualize the Foundation’s aspiration to build a compassionate society.

    The Foundation is looking for an Operations Manager – D’ Hub to join the Operations team and to lead the management and operation of D’ Hub by DHCF. Based in Hong Kong, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and working closely with the Foundation Office Team, the Operations Manager – D’ Hub will:

    • Manage the day-to-day operation, maintenance and repairs, and enhancement and improvement works of D’ Hub by DHCF to ensure it upholds and meets the requisite health, safety, environmental and security standards and requirements.
    • Liaise with, oversee and monitor the performance of suppliers, service providers and contractors, including maintenance, security, building and renovation works to ensure they comply with the Foundation’s requirements, and contractual and legal obligations.
    • Communicate and work closely with the building management and leasing team for tenancy related matters and processes.
    • Budget review and planning, schedule and conduct regular reviews and evaluations of the building and make recommendations on improvement plans for operations efficiencies.
    • Plan, customize, organize the usage and utilization of D’ Hub by DHCF to meet the needs of the programs/projects of the Foundation.
    • Work closely with the Foundation Office Team to develop D’ Hub by DHCF into a hub that embraces the values of the Foundation, grow a network of like-minded change makers and partners, and build an ecosystem for collaborative learning, experiences sharing and making contributions towards the vision of the Foundation.
    • Collaborate and participate in cross-team/function projects and events.
    • Perform other duties as assigned from time to time.

    The Operations Manager – D’ Hub should possess the following qualifications and competencies:

    • A sound university degree
    • 6+ years experience in relevant fields, advantages if have facilities/asset management experience
    • Strong alignment with the value-based vision and mission of the Foundation
    • Able to connect the dots, establish, influence and maintain collaborative partnerships and engage in effective communications with a broad range of parties
    • Growth mindset, proactive learner and team player with strong sense of responsibility, integrity and work ethics
    • Able to prioritize, is organized and have good project management skills
    • Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
    • A strong knowledge in Microsoft Office.
