    We Are Looking For Philanthropy Talents

    We are currently looking for high calibre candidates to fill the following position:

     

    Program Manager

    Based in Hong Kong and reporting to the CEO of the Foundation, the Program Manager will:

    1. Assist the CEO in developing and implementing new philanthropic initiatives that align with the mission of the Foundation;
    2. Conduct research on relevant social/community issues and keep abreast of the practices and development of the philanthropic sector;
    3. Proactively identify suitable partners and/or organizations to develop meaningful programs in line with the strategic priorities of the Foundation;
    4. Independently manage funding applications, including but not limited to due diligence, assessment, proposal writing, programs/projects implementation and related event management;
    5. Monitor the progress of approved programs/projects including but not limited to donation disbursements, regular visits to partner organizations and provision of regular updates;
    6. Maintain proper and accurate donation records and database;
    7. Perform or assist in publicity related matters such as preparation of speeches, press releases, and arrangement of publicity events;
    8. Build strong networks with relevant stakeholders.

    The Program Manager should possess the following qualifications and competencies:

    1. A good university degree, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in a managerial role;
    2. Strong business acumen and ability to identify worthy opportunities;
    3. Critical mindset and ability to conduct research and analysis;
    4. Strong program implementation and management skills;
    5. Excellent communication and writing skills in both English and Chinese;
    6. Passionate about philanthropy, creative, outgoing and self-motivated;
    7. Able to work independently with minimal supervision, yet a good team player;
    8. Strong knowledge of government policies, industry development and practices in the areas of education, medical research and healthcare, and promotion of Buddhist values.
