#CompassionInAction #慈之以行 campaign, initiated by The D. H. Chen Foundation (“the Foundation”) and Hong Kong Shifts (HKS), has successfully completed in August.
A storytelling initiative to honor NGOs which are doing good and important work for our Hong Kong community, particularly amid this challenging moment during the pandemic, #CompassionInAction has reached a few hundred thousand audiences on various online platforms, including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
All 15 touching stories of the NGO partners are now available on the Foundation webpage: https://dhchenfoundation.com/project-fuel/compassion-in-action/
Through this campaign, the Foundation hopes that a greater sense of gratitude and empathy would be strengthen to build a compassionate society together. Here are some feedback from the participating NGOs:
“I can see my value and importance in this organization through the story sharing campaign #CompassionInAction. The interview reminded me of the needs of our service audience – children with cancer and their families – they always need our love and patience and we shall walk side by side with them to come across the challenges in their journeys.” – Carman, Kid’s Ambassador at Little Life Warrior Society
“The campaign provided us with very nice materials to promote Teen’s Key’s mission and work. Feedback from donors are positive and love the approach of the Hong Kong Shifts interview.” – Bowie, Founder and Executive Director at Teen’s Key
