    First Cohort of Guardians of the Silver Age Graduated

    Co-initiated by The D. H. Chen Foundation (“the Foundation”) and Generation Hong Kong, Guardians of the Silver Age 銀齡守護者 (“the Program”) has completed its first training course in late January. More than a dozen of Guardians of the Silver Age graduated and are ready to serve and care the elder community in Hong Kong with compassion.

    Through the 8-week training course, the Guardians of the Silver Age are well equipped with the professional knowledge and skills of eldercare and innovative gerontechnology, at the same time are able to enjoy the mentorship and job placement opportunity that both the technical proficiency as well as the behavioral and mindset change of the Guardians are being looked after. The course offers a holistic and compassion-based point of view in the value of the Guardians’ role towards taking care of the elders.
