    The D. H. Chen Foundation is currently hiring a Program Manager for the Institute of Wellbeing (IWB), dedicated to fostering integrated holistic care that promotes societal wellbeing.

    About the Job

    Based in Hong Kong, the Program Manager will:

    • steer the strategic development and operation of IWB;
    • initiate, develop and/or implement philanthropic initiatives and partnerships that align with the vision and mission of the Foundation and IWB;
    • identify suitable partners and/or organizations while building strong networks to advance the development of IWB;
    • foster cross-disciplinary and cross-sector synergies with relevant stakeholders to further the philanthropic objectives of the Foundation and IWB;
    • oversee tasks including, but not limited to, identifying competent partners and collaborators; researching, benchmarking, and analyzing data to make informed recommendations; crafting and managing projects; engaging internal and external resources to achieve desired outcomes and impacts;
    • independently manage funding applications including, but not limited to, due diligence, assessment, proposal writing, and the implementation of programs and projects;
    • monitor the progress of approved programs and projects including, but not limited to, donation disbursements, regular visits to partner organizations, and providing regular updates.
    • support publicity efforts such as preparing program pages for Foundation’s website, drafting speeches, writing press releases, and organizing publicity events;
    • participate in additional Foundation projects as assigned by Senior Management from time to time.

    The Program Manager should possess the following qualifications and competencies:

    • a sound and relevant university degree, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience;
    • strong alignment with the value-based vision and mission of the Foundation;
    • a growth mindset, excellent research and analytic skills, and the ability to connect the dots;
    • demonstrated innovation, community engagement, and advocacy in previous work experiences;
    • strong knowledge in areas such as primary health, elderly care, mental wellbeing, life education, public policy, and/or philanthropy is advantageous;
    • competent in program development and management skills;
    • excellent communication and writing abilities in both English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua);
    • a proactive learner and a team player.
