11 The D. H. Chen Foundation Scholars had high-level exchanges with 13 Schwarzman Scholars and 1 Samsung Scholar during a half-day tour at The Mills in Tsuen Wan in mid-June. With diverse academic and professional backgrounds, all exceptional scholars shared their intellectual and cultural ideas with each other during the tour, and developed a better understanding of the revitalization project The Mills – a former textile mills turned into a new destination for innovation, experiential retail and arts & culture. The Schwarzman delegation was on their annual 4-day visit to Hong Kong during their fully-funded one-year post-graduate program at Tsinghua University, Beijing. The partnership between the Foundation and the Schwarzman Scholars Program serves as an extension of our landmark Scholarship Program which supports outstanding Hong Kong young talents at the University of Oxford and four local leading universities.
