Proudly presented by The D. H. Chen Foundation and EDiversity, the first Asian tour of Robin Grille, Australian psychologist and author of “Parenting for a Peaceful World” that inspired our three-year program supporting Hong Kong parents and child carers to build a positive and connected childhood, has been completed successfully.
Over 700 attendances were seen in two public talks and five workshops, which led the audience on a thought-provoking journey filled with surprising and often shocking history and evolution of parenting, as well with the insightful idea of parents’ own childhood experience being one of the strongest influences on how they parented today.
During Robin’s visit to Hong Kong, the Foundation Office members were honored to have the opportunity to exchange ideas with him in a lunch meeting on how to safeguard children’s development to creating a more peaceful and harmonious world. Key members of EDiversity have also joined and shared their experiences on how to collaborate with local counterparts to create more choices in our education system.
The Foundation appreciates such meeting of minds and hearts, and hopes to organize more of these exchanges with our non-profit partners and friends to enable us to learn more about the social good we have been supporting to create.
