The D. H. Chen Foundation joined forces with MIT Node and MIT Hacking Medicine in late April, hosting the first “virtual” hackathon due to the outbreak of the COVID-19. More than 380 engineers, designers, health-care professionals and others from 16 different time zones took part, sharing the same goal of finding practical solutions to improve mental health and well-being brought down by the pandemic.
